Dear Editor,

A great debate has emerged over the Wikileaks webst somethings that site. Should they be allowed to release confidential secrets of the United states Government? They should not be. For the simple reason that  it is supposed confidential. I agree that theres just somethings that us, as the public, should not be allowed to know. There is somethings that the families of the soldiers should not know in other to keep there peace of mind about there loved ones out in the war. Also, because it is a federal thing, they will know how to deal with all the issues. That is why there getting paid for right, to keep us safe from harm. Also, to keep us from worrying of other things that we should not be. It has just brought disaster and disorder to our country. If the information that has been published is considered to be classified, then it should be remained classified.If the government says is classified they must have a valid reason for it. All the people that have seen and read the information that has been released are beginning to judge and blame the innocent people. Mainly the soldiers, but there not thinking that the soldiers are just doing there job. There doing what the Government is telling them to do. Because the Government is doing what they believe is the right thing for us. 

Tones

The United States tone in the Declaration of War seemed a bit calmer. They were really focousing in there goverment, freedome and there people. It seemed that they did not want to be ina war with anyone, all they wanted was to be neutral. While the Germans Declaration of War seemed more aggresive. It seemed that they wanted to be at war. In the Declaration they continualy repeated Statedwar, united and blockade. They reallyjust wanted to be in war with anyone

Threatments

If my squad found some bomb materials under a floor tile and I had captives that I knew would more than likely know the rest of the information I would play some mind games with them. Not torture them but play with there minds in order to get the information needed. Some of the long-term reperccusion are that if the informatio of the captives treatmet was to get out. the United States reputation would be on the floor. A short-term reperccusion would be that we would be save.

No Fake Wars

Games that portray war should not be allowed to exist. Sence what they publish might be lies. If you are not there then you do not really know exacly whats going on. So why do we keep on playing? We aare taking for granted all the soldiers that are fighting out in war for  us. All the soldiers that die do not have a seceal people, that decide to fight for this countryond chance to start over. This are real people that decide to fight for us out of the love and respect that they have for this country. Yet we do not think about any of that when we play war games. I should know, Ive done it. Instead all we do is go online and argue with the first person that kills us(digitaly ofcorse). And why is that. Because we do not havee enough courage to go out there and shoot a real gun. Instead we rather shoot a fake one. Now think about this, what if you had a close friend or a family memeber that are in that war right now. And you see one of your friends playing Call Of Duty pretending that they know exacly what the real soldiers are feeling. How would you feel? Knowing that one of your loved ones is out there risking there lifes and every other erson does not even care or even acnoligies it. This Fake vertual games do not express the truth behing the war. It does not ecpress the truth about the war. It does not express the truth about the fear or dangers that the real people fo throught each and every day. There is no way for them to know about it if there not there. Games makers do not think about the soldiers out there that are dying. All there thinking about \is when the next paycheck is coming or if there going to get credit for there work. Gaming companies just think about the money that there going to be making ones the games out. And about beating the compatition. Also, about the easiest way that there going to be able to make money off ads put in the game from other paying companies. Nothing els. This is my opinion on why the vertual war games such as Call Of Duty should be baned. If you do not have the guts to be a real soldier then do not pretend to be one through a fake game.

Old School Communication: Letters

Being the wife,daughter,girlfriend or niece of a man that was in WWI would be intence. Having to wait week after week just to receive one letter from your love one. Never knowing if there ok. Not knowing if there alive. Is worrying and stressful thing. Not being able to hug that person, seeing that person or even just hearing there voice for a little comfort. Always having hope that they'll return safly home and yet feeling afraid of every knock in the door. Fearing bad news and no news at all.

Combates In the Air

From the game one can tell that it was no easy task trying to control a plane and avoid being shoot at by the enemy. A pilot wound most likely be feeling above all afraid. You never knew who would go down, you or the enemy.Seeing any of you fellow friends go down can be hard anyone. But also is a wake up call, that's when you really would remember that any mystake could be you last. Having to control the plane and be making all types of sudden movements would defenetly confuse them. Any hard turn would make them feel naseus.

In the movie Underworld:Rise of the Lycans shows the way that the war between warewolves and vampires began. The vampires had the upperhand because they were smarter than warewolfes.Also, the warevolfes were un able to take human form again after they had been bitten. All of this change when a young boy was the perfect combination. He was able to turn into a warewolfe and back into a human in the full moon. The vampires enslaved all of the new bread of warewolfs and took away all there freedom and belongings.  Thhis movie is an example of imperialism because it shows how the one group who had the upper hand was able to dominate over the other group.

The Life Of A Worker

I am a one of the many workers that constructed the famouse Panama Canal. I am 19 years old and I am a Chinese immigrant. I've seen how many of my close friends have dies because of the difficult job it was to build this canal. The voyage to go to Panama was a challenge all on its own. And many of the ones that were able to survive didn't make it because of the intense heat. It is vey easy to get dehidred in that weather if you dont take care of yourself. If the problems only stoped there. There were all sourt of diseases like Malaria, Yellow Fever, dysentery or dengue just to mention a few. The work is hard. The cosntant fear of being crushed by a train or being sufficated to death by noxious gases is   a constant fear in our minds. An extimaed 25,000 people died building this canal...who knows if there were more

Two Different Groups Same Ideas

The Bourgeois and Proletarians  belive that Communism is a very bad thing and is just going to end up in the destruction of the classes. They also belive that society's classes hase built up from the society before them. While the Proletarians and Communists  are all for Communism and that everyone is equal and that ther should only be one class.  With this Comunism a labor worker wouldn't be paid or be able to gain any land. Instead they would just be abused.

Jernalism turns Yellow

Weve all read something from a newspaer or internent article at one point of our lives. But, have you ever thought if it was all real? This was written in a recent internant article that stated,"Riaz Laljee is a blood sucking man having no ethics but to make money and destroy an institution like Pakistan Steel by ending the livelihoods of thousands and to cause massive losses to the national exchequer" This can realte to the Spanish American War when the governer there said that President McKlan was weak. The newspaper said this, but we don't know if it as really true.
"All fingers are pointed towards Riaz Laljee and a connection is somehow or the other made with President Zardari." This can also realte to the war because i is acusing someone with out any proof. Just like when the jernalist acused the Spainish for the sinking of the Maine.

Feelings through Pictures

The immigrants that where coming to America must have been scared. Scared of leaving everything they knew behind them, scared of having to start over and not knowing what to expect. They would have also feelt ansious to begin there new lifes.

Life as a worker

For this workers life was more than likely very hard. Having to work more than anyone els to be able to buy something to eat. Yet it didn't matter how much they would work the money was never enough. They hade to work unimaginable hours and where abused at the work place. Probably lived in a small apartment with atleast five people. Always tired and bearly ever slept. Thats what I think life for this workers must have been like.

In the picture it shows the cowboys all gathered around the wagon. This was commond for them. It showes them in a realax enviroment when they were not worrying about the long trip ahead of them. They were spending a time together as a familie. Probably eating, chatting and having some fun together.
In this other picture it shows a couple of cowboys tying down a calf. They did this to eat or to mark them as theres. It could also be showing them practicing how to hold down a small calf without hurting them.Knowing how to hold down a small calf was important in order to be able to give them medicen when needed or even to trade them with mershances.
In this last picture shows a humble family gathered around the dinning table.There nicely dressed wich probably means that it is a special event. It could also be that there having a Sunday dinner after going to church.

Gunsmoke's steryotypes

In the episode of Gunsmoke, some of the steryotypes of cowboys I saw was that one of them left his partner behind to leave him die. That they were able to deliver 3 babies. That they were able to figure out that the man in the wanted poster was the father of the babies. Know what to do when the baby #1 won't drink the goats milk. The sherif that killed the babies father sent Martial a telegram

Amnesty or No Amnesty?

I think that the South did not decerve Amnesty. This is because, first of all they didn't want forgiveness. They didn't belive that they had done anything wrong. So if this were there belives then it wouldn't make much sence to forgive someone that didn't want it. Not only that, but they should have come to the North and asked for the forgiveness. Not the North ask if it was ok for them to forgive the South.

Did one good make a bad?

This even was meant to help slaves, but in a way it just harmed them. They  were the ones that got most of the bad sides of the Reconstruction. Many were in depth and didn't have many resorses. After they planted crops, they were forced to give a big percentage of the crops to there "masters". Also, many of them didn't have an education and those who did were just starting to learn.
After the Reconstruction, slaves were abused in many ways. They were publicly murdered for no reason what so ever and then there corpes would be shoped and sold as souvenirs. So they were defenetly better off before the Civil War.

Differenced between the Reconstruction and the Civil Rights Movement

When talking about the Reconstruction and the Civil Rights Movement there's a few things that are different. During the Reconstruction Affrican-American's were still slave. The Northern Goverment made there semi-aforts to stop slavery and give them equal rights, but it did not work. Slaves even after being "freed" where still treated as being less than the white people. The Northern law had no affect on the South, because they did not accept them. After they finally did give them there semi-freedom they could not leave there masters farm. They were murdered in horrible ways, for no reason at all. At this time that would be considered an important even. People traveled from far just to see African-Americans being killed in the middle of a public place. After that, the poeple that murdered them would shop up there bodies and sell them as suveniors. To top it all off, they did not know how to read or write so it did not make to much sence of trying to leave the farms where they worked at.

During the Civil Rights Movement, not many things changed. They were still not treated equaly, but had a few more rights than in the Reconstruction. African-Americans where able to go to school and to be paid for working. Yet, there was a seperation in public places. African-Americans and White people had different places where to sit, eat and work. Many where still murdered even though they were freed considred to be equal.

Some of the similarities varied. Many people did want to help the African-Americans to be free. Many of the main people that wanted to stop descrimination where shot and killed. The poeple that killed them were against African-Americans having equal rights. Even though they had some freedom they were killed for no reason. Both lasted many years. Under the states federal goverment they were all the things that would happen to the African-Americans were not as important as the White people's buisness. They would ignore the unfaire treatment that the African-Americans would endore.

Something everyone knows

People talk so much and thats how things get around. Thats how steryotypes are known by EVERYONE. No matter where your from theres always something that people are gona be thinking as soon as they see you or meet you. Sometimes there right but other times there not. So you shouldn't judge someone just because of what you've heard from other people.

Should the Government be involved?

When the government only does little thats when is the best. To me thats because the government mainly does things that are good for themselfs. If they don't get something in return then they won't do it. If the government dosn't get involved then we would be in a better place.

Is History THAT Important?

In my opinion History is more important that what anyone thinks. If it wasn't for History we wouldn't be able to prevent some of the things that have already happend in the past. Also, we wouldn't undestand the reasons why we have some of the rules that we have now a days or why the government is the way it is. Not only that, but we wouldn't know some of the amaizing things that our ansensors did before we wer even born.

Repetition Much

People agree with what ever sounds smart or with what ever is best for them. If they have to lie in order to hide something from the past,then there going to do it. Why? For the simple reason that they, as human beings, don't wana look bad infront of others.
